Inter Milan star, Mauro Icardi could leave the club in this summer's transfer window to join Manchester United in a swap deal for striker, Romelu Lukaku.
We reported that Lukaku has been heavily tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer as part of manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's drastic squad overhaul.
The Belgium international was told by Manchester United's officials that he would be allowed to leave this summer - but only for a substantial fee.
However, Sky Sport Italia is now reporting that Inter Milan have offered Icardi to Man United as part of their bid to sign Lukaku this summer.
The report also claimed that Man United are standing firm over their £80 million valuation of the former Chelsea and Everton star.
Lukaku joined Man United from Everton in 2017.
The 26-year-old scored 12 Premier League goals in 32 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this season.
